I didn't take pictures of this part, but I scraped off all of the popcorn ceiling from this little overhang (covering a vent).
There was a lot of old linoleum and carpet to pull up. I think we spent an entire day pulling carpet staples out of the concrete floor.
Carpet in the bathroom, too. And note the beautiful flower tiles and lime green counter top.
The cabinets hung around in the living room and one of the upstairs bedrooms for a few days, but were picked up by a local home goods resale shop last week--Bud's Warehouse. They took the counter and sink, too.
Next up, we start painting and laying the new floor. (We do actually have to move in at some point soon..)

Ooohhh I definitely would have kept that lime green in the bathroom! Ooo La La! Looks like fun, Megan. I don't envy you at all. It seems like for the past year and a half since I've been in Joe's house its been constant renovation, and the major stuff like the kitchen was already done before me. Congrats on the new place!!!
